Happy Ash Wednesday everyone! Now, those who actually celebrate it, feel free to stop reading here.

Now to the main point. Give something up until Easter? Fuck that. Not like people are really going to give anything up. Oh, you’re gonna give up liquor for Lent? Cool, enjoy your beer. I say we celebrate it the way it should be:

HAPPY ASH WEDNESDAY!

The wonderful time of year when we celebrate this amazing person. The savior of Kanto. 

Every year, we shall follow in Ash’s footsteps and give up one thing: Never giving up.

On the first day of Ash Wednesday, we shall smear ashes all over our face and bodies, representing the start of his great adventure with pikachu.

We shall not give up on our dreams and pursue them with all our energy until Easter: The day Ash rose from the dead thanks to Pikachu’s compassion (Go watch the first movie if you don’t know what I’m talking about)
